Vendia Woods may process the data of subscribers to its newsletter as well as of its potential customers and current/past customers.
3. Purpose of use of personal data
Reason for keeping customer records:

Purpose of the processing of personal data and use of the register
Personal data in the customer register are processed only for predefined purposes, which are the following:
- the management of the customer relationship
- to inform you about our services
4. Personal data stored in the register
The customer register contains the following information:

- Name
- address
- position in the company
- company details
- email address
- telephone number and
Customer information such as
- information on products/services purchased
- information on services offered but not purchased
- billing information.
The register of newsletter subscribers contains the following personal data:
- email address
5. Rights of the data subject
The data subject has the following rights, the exercise of which must be requested in writing to Teollisuustie 1, 36760 Pälkäne
Right of access: the data subject may check the personal data we have stored.
Right to rectification: the data subject may request the rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data concerning him/her.
Right to object: the data subject may object to the processing of personal data if he or she believes that the personal data have been processed unlawfully.
Right to object to direct marketing: the data subject has the right to object to the use of the data for direct marketing.
Right to erasure: the data subject has the right to request the erasure of data if the processing is no longer necessary. We will process the deletion request, after which we will either delete the data or provide a reasoned justification why the data cannot be deleted.
Please note that the controller may have a legal or other right not to delete the requested data. The controller is obliged to keep the accounting records for the period specified in the Accounting Act (Chapter 2, Section 10) (10 years). Therefore, accounting records cannot be deleted before the expiry of this period.
Withdrawal of consent: if the processing of personal data concerning the data subject is based solely on consent and not, for example, on customer or membership, the data subject may withdraw consent.
The data subject may appeal against the decision to the Data Protection Ombudsman.
The data subject has the right to request that we restrict the processing of the disputed data until the matter is resolved.
Right to lodge a complaint: the data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Ombudsman if he or she feels that we are in breach of applicable data protection law when we process personal data.

- from the subscriber to the newsletter or from the (potential) customer himself via the online form

8. Duration of processing
Personal data from both registers will be processed / stored as a rule for as long as the customer relationship is in force or is expected to continue, unless otherwise required by law or other obligations.
9. Processors of personal data
The customer register is processed by employees of Vendia Woods Oy.
We may also partially outsource the processing of personal data to a third party, in which case we will guarantee through contractual arrangements that the personal data will be processed in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation and otherwise appropriately.
We have ensured that all our service providers comply with data protection legislation.
10. Transfer of data outside the EU
Personal data is not transferred outside the EU or the European Economic Area.
11. Automated decision-making and profiling
We do not use data for automated decision-making or profiling.
12. Principles of register protection
Personal data is kept confidential and protected against unauthorised access and processing. The register of newsletter subscribers and the customer register and its backups are located on a storage medium managed by Vendia Woods Oy. It is located in locked premises and is protected by personal login details and passwords.
The vendia.fi website is hosted on a server within the EU. The server provider is responsible for the security of the server and the data it contains, with due care and in compliance with EU regulations. Vendia.fi is protected by an SSL certificate, which ensures that the entire site is safe to use and the information you provide through it is secure.
Cookie policy
This website uses cookies. The information is used to monitor visitor statistics, improve the page, and target advertising and marketing.
